Welcome to Positive Vibes Only, a 501(c)(3) organization founded by the renowned Chicago singer-songwriter, RJ Griffith. Our mission is simple yet impactful – to empower the youth of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana by creating a safe and vibrant space for them to express their creativity and connect with like-minded individuals. Through singing, dancing, spoken word, comedy, acting, and more, we offer a judgment-free zone where young talents can flourish and form lasting friendships.

At Positive Vibes Only, we believe in nurturing young minds beyond the stage. Our monthly events are not only a platform for creative expression but also an opportunity for learning. We provide free educational sessions, including group vocal lessons, acting classes, mental health coping skill workshops, and anti-bullying sessions. Community-focused initiatives such as food and book bag drives further underscore our commitment to making a positive impact.

Our journey began in November of 2018, when RJ Griffith envisioned a space where youth could thrive and share their gifts. This dream took form in Munster, IN, with RJ personally covering expenses to provide hot meals, prizes, entertainment, and a welcoming atmosphere. Over time, Positive Vibes Only evolved into an official nonprofit in June 2019, embracing a new venue at East Chicago Church in East Chicago, IN. The overwhelming support from ECC Pastor Manuel Corazzari allowed us to offer free admission, while expanding our reach and services to the community.

The heart of Positive Vibes Only beats with the desire to educate, transform, and inspire today's youth through the performing arts. We envision our platform growing nationwide, offering young individuals everywhere the chance to unleash their creativity while giving back to their communities. As we continue to expand, we invite volunteers, donors, and partners to join us in our mission. Together, we can amplify positivity and help shape a brighter future through the power of the arts.
